This is where YOU fit in: Navy Exchange Lemoore is in need of a Janitor to answer the call; a team player who is dedicated to supporting our local Naval community, and operational successes on a day to day basis. You will perform a variety of tasks which involves the upkeep and repair of all Navy Exchange Lemoore retail locations. Your work will make an impact and support how our organization serves the best customer – our activity duty Military patrons and their families.
So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?
· Conducts full range of cleaning & janitorial tasks including cleaning and maintaining machines/equipment.
· Performs basic building maintenance tasks and using hand tools such as hammers, handsaws, screwdrivers, wrenches etc.
· Follows all local safety regulations. Informs supervisor of hazardous conditions.
· May operate motor vehicle in the performance of the duties.
The Qualifiers:
· Physical requirements: Moderately heavy physical effort is used occasionally in moving, setting up and working from ladders/scaffolds. Frequently lifts and moves objects weighing about 40 pounds. May occasionally lift and move objects weighing over 50 pounds.
· Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.
· Six months of experience performing cleaning tasks using industrial type cleaning equipment.
· Must possess a valid state driver’s license and pass a pre-employment criminal & motor vehicle background check.
· Be available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays

The Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) Enterprise encompasses six business lines, boasting a workforce of more than 14,000 associates located around the globe.
