Supervisor - Cardiology Practice - Queens Medical Group

In this role the Practice Supervisor:

  • Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth delivery of services.

  • Act as a liaison between staff and coordinate with other departments and services for efficient operations

  • Interpret and enforce medical group policies.

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

  • Assist in developing cost-effective systems (e.g., scheduling, productivity).

  • Retrieve and verify data from practice systems.

  • Recommend improvements to systems and operations.

  • Ensure timely and accurate information flow.

  • Maintain effective communication across departments and with senior management.

  • Address and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.

  • Participates in the hiring decisions and conduct performance evaluations.

  • Set performance standards and monitor quality.

  • Schedule work, provide training, and support staff development.

  • Foster a positive work environment.

  • Implement initiatives to boost morale, satisfaction, and retention.

  • Enhance patient satisfaction through communication, empathy, and feedback.

  • Ensure smooth scheduling and address patient concerns.

This is a full-time day position, Monday through Friday with hours between 8:00AM to 5:00PM. This position is located Fresh Meadows, NY.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3 years of supervisory experience preferred

Required Criteria:

  • High School Diploma /GED

  • Previous supervisory experience

  • Excellent interpersonal/communications skills

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint or equivalent tools 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; initiative and ability to solve problems independently

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels 

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
