Physician Assistant – Internal Medicine Nights - Columbia Campus – New Graduates and Experienced PAs Welcome to Apply!

In this role, you will care for floor-level of care patients on the Internal Medicine service and experience a wide variety of cases, ranging from adult inpatients requiring pre- and post-operative care to general acute care and specialty services. You'll care for geriatrics, digestive diseases, rehabilitation, vascular, neurology and oncology patients, many from around the world. Together, we use our brains and hearts to provide the highest level of care imaginable. In the process, experience all the reasons we entered our noble field.

This position will work three 12.5 hour night shifts per week. Rotating weekend and holiday coverage required. 

Preferred Criteria:

  • At least one year of inpatient medicine experience

  • New graduates who have completed an internal medicine rotation are encouraged to apply

Required Criteria:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies

  • NYS licensure

  • NCCPA certification

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
