Patient Registrar - Multispecialty Practice - Queens Medical Group

As a Patient Registrar, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, handling:
Providing a reassuring presence during the patient experience
Demographic and insurance information collection
Registration for procedures and appointments
Schedules and maintains daily appointments
Collects co-payments and fees
Check eligibility in real time
This is a full-time (36.25 hours/week), 9am - 5pm (hours may vary to accommodate the needs of the operation and may include Saturday coverage). This position is located in Forest Hills, Queens.
Preferred Criteria:
Some college coursework
Experience working in a busy medical practice.
Familiarity with Epic
Experience with insurance authorization
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Required Criteria:
High School Diploma or GED
Qualified candidates have at least one year of clerical experience.
