Patient Registrar - Breast Surgery - Queens Medical Group

As a member of our administrative team, you will discover what sets us apart - passion for the individuals and families in our care.

In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, handling:

  • Providing a reassuring presence during the patient experience

  • Demographic and insurance information collection

  • Registration for procedures and appointments

  • Schedules and maintains daily appointments

  • Collects co-payments and fees

  • Check eligibility in real time

This is a full-time day shift position (9am - 5pm), Monday - Friday. The hours may change to accommodate the needs of the practice. This position is based in our Flushing location and may need to travel to other locations as needed.

Preferred Criteria:

  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience in a patient care setting.

  • Experience with customer service in a healthcare setting

  • Mandarin/Cantonese Speaking preferred

Required Criteria:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Qualified candidates have prior administrative, patient appointments and surgical scheduling experience.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
