As a Nurse Practitioner at SierraVista, you will provide compassionate, evidenced-based care to adult patients with substance use and mental health disorders. You will prescribe and manage medications for those patients who need them. You will work closely with a staff psychiatrist, medical providers, nurses, and case managers.

You will assess and treat mental health issues across our continuum of care to help patients safely stabilize and build a strong foundation for long-term recovery. The ideal candidate has broad direct care experience, and knowledge of addiction and mental health treatment. You should be efficient, flexible, and eager to embrace a team-based approach that models collaborative, solution-based problem solving, and authentic communication.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree from an accredited nursing program

  • Unrestricted current license to practice in state of employment

  • Must have prescriptive authorization and XDEA license is preferred

  • Broad clinical experience required, addiction treatment experience preferred

  • Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Positive energy
