Behavioral Health Technician

Shift: 3 12hr shifts, with every other weekend rotation.

Full Time, Part Time, and PRN Positions Available

Hours: 7a-7p, 7p-7a

Pay range: $15-$17/hr

The Role Itself  

• Provides activities of daily living (ADL’s).
• Reports all changes to the RN.
• Performs routine procedures (ie: vital signs, accuchecks, etc).
• Assists in the admission process by orienting patients to the milieu.
• Secures patient belongings, valuables, and documents in accordance with policies.
• Performs ongoing observation of patient and carries out specific interventions to ensure patient safety which includes frequent rounding, primary searches, and visitor control.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 yrs or older
• Preferred STNA but not required. 
• Preferred Nurses Aide.

Ethan’s Story:

The care and compassion in this community is inspired by the life of a sweet boy who lived, loved and was loved by many, but is no longer here to see the sun rise again.  

Like so many others, Ethan had his share of struggles; family hardship, difficulty finding his place in this world and trouble realizing his life’s dreams and aspirations.  The confluence of his life circumstances led him to depression and addiction, which ultimately took his life at the tender age of twenty-two.  Ethan Crossing Recover seeks to honor his life by providing for others, which he did not have; a family system that understands, supports and is there for the lifelong journey of sustainable recover.
