About the Role
As Technology and Data Demand Planning Specialist you will support the Technology and Data Planning Manager in the process of collating, triaging and assigning change demand into the Technology function. Ensuring the appropriate prioritisation is determined and the planning of technology and data change requests are correctly assigned to delivery teams. This role ensures that business requirements are clearly understood, evaluated and translated into actionable initiatives that align with strategic priorities, available capacity, and budget. The position sits at the intersection of business strategy, IT delivery and data enablement, ensuring that investments in technology and data drive measurable business outcomes. You will maintain a strong connection to our Group purpose of ‘connecting our communities with a better financial future.’ Working in collaboration with the wider Groups’ leadership community, you will embrace and promote our culture that is focused on being creative, courageous, collaborative, efficient and accountable.
About You
We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in IT portfolio management, technology planning or business relationship management with a strong understanding of technology and data, platforms and delivery models such as Agile, DevOps, and Cloud.
As well as being experienced with enterprise demand management tools, you are expected to have a proven experience managing cross-functional planning and prioritisation processes and working in a large, matrixed, or regulated environment.
We do require someone with a strategic mindset with operational discipline who has great stakeholder management skills across business and technical audiences by being highly collaborative and influential across business and technical functions and comfortable balancing competing priorities and managing ambiguity.
Due to the nature of the role, you should possess strong analytical and organisational skills, being able to manage complex demand pipelines.
