JOB MISSION:

Warrior Ice Arena offers full day youth camps! We are looking for enthusiastic and attentive camp counselors to lead, support, and motivate campers as they enjoy all that the camp has to offer. Our camp counselors will help lead day-to-day group activities. Our goal is to provide our campers with a unique, fun, and safe experience! The camps will take place at Warrior Ice Arena, the TRACK at new balance, and other locations here on the Boston Landing campus! 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Leading and supporting campers as they participate in off-ice activities 
  • Monitoring campers 
  • Cleaning, maintaining and ensuring proper use of Warrior Ice Arena and the TRACK at new balance facilities and equipment
  • Transport campers between facilities on a daily basis in a timely and safe manner
  • Reporting and recording details of incidents 
  • Well versed in emergency procedures and enforcing camp policies -Participating in team meetings
  • 16 years or older -Upbeat, engaging personality

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Part-Time (40 hours during camp weeks) 
  • Compensation: $17 per hour 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • High level of responsibility and accountability
  • First aid, CPR, and additional training may be required or beneficial
  • Physical ability to participate in activities such as skating, running, lifting, etc.
  • Ability to pass a background check, a physical, and provide proof of immunizations
  • Experience working in camps, with children, or with specific activities preferred, but not required 

Warrior Ice Arena Only Pay Range: $15.70 - $19.65 - $23.60 Hourly (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)

Flexible Work Schedule

For decades we have fostered a unique culture founded on our values with a particular focus on in-person teamwork and collaboration. Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced “Work from Anywhere” (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
