You will work across GenAI (LLM assistants, RAG pipelines), cloud-native services, and automation platforms, owning backend systems end-to-end—from design to deployment. This is a hands-on role ideal for an experienced Python developer excited about applying AI to deliver innovative tools that empower our Support and Customer Success teams and ultimately world-class experiences to Netskope customers.</p> <p>As a member of that team at Netskope, you will have an important role in the development of cutting-edge tools, of which some are AI-driven, with the opportunity to help shape the future of customer support technology.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work in the implementation of applications that will improve Netskope Customer Experience even more, including: <ul> <li>GenAI/Large Language Model assistants;</li> <li>Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines;</li> <li>Workflow and process automation tools;</li> <li>Agentic AI tools;</li> <li>Troubleshooting and performance monitoring tools.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Own the delivery of such applications, from design and development to deployment and monitoring, following modern approaches for maximum productivity and quality.</li> <li>Design, implement and maintain the features and backend components of such applications using Python and public cloud services (AWS and GCP).</li> <li>Develop data pipelines and strategies for efficient data retrieval and processing to support such applications.</li> <li>Help deploy and monitor the applications in public cloud environments.</li> <li>Build clients/servers that consume/serve REST APIs, gRPC, etc.</li> <li>Troubleshoot bugs and issues raised by internal customers.</li> <li>Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables in a fast-paced development environment.</li> <li>Create and update the status of task tickets as needed, together with documenting and sharing relevant information about the tasks and deliverables.</li> <li>Keep abreast of the latest technologies that could be used to improve the products.</li> <li>Collaborate with other internal Netskope teams to drive individual tasks forward.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>6+ years of backend software development</li> <li>Expertise in Python</li> <li>Experience developing RESTful API services leveraging libraries such as FastAPI</li> <li>Working knowledge of AWS components for application development and deployment</li> <li>Experience with PostgreSQL and other modern database technologies</li> <li>Experience with developing applications that use LLMs</li> <li>Proficiency in prompt engineering for LLMs to achieve desired outcomes</li> <li>Experience with Docker containerization Docker</li> <li>Working knowledge of git</li> <li>Experience with Agile methodologies</li> <li>Experience using LLM-powered tools that assist development work (Github Copilot, etc.)</li> <li>Knowledge of secure development practices</li> <li>Energetic self-starter, with the desire to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Requirements (Nice to have):&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Expertise in Rust</li> <li>Good understanding of AI/ML concepts, natural language processing (NLP), vector embeddings</li> <li>Good understanding of evaluation processes of LLM applications</li> <li>Good understanding of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.</li> <li>Experience with vector databases (e.g., Qdrant, Weaviate)</li> <li>Experience with GenAI frameworks and libraries (e.g., LangChain, LLamaIndex)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bachelors or Masters degree preferred</span></li> </ul> <p>#LI-TD1</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>Netskope is committed to implementing equal employment opportunities for all employees and applicants for employment.
