<p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a <strong>Chartered Accountant (CA)</strong> with 3–5 years of experience to manage <strong>inventory and contract asset accounting</strong> and drive <strong>financial reporting, audit readiness, and month-end closing</strong> under <strong>US GAAP/IFRS</strong>. This role involves <strong>inventory valuation, cost accounting, reserves</strong>, and accurate record-keeping in <strong>NetSuite</strong>, along with <strong>Procure-to-Pay (P2P)</strong> processes—purchase orders, vendor advances, and accounts payable reconciliations. The position demands strong technical accounting knowledge, compliance focus, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p><strong>Month-End Closing & Reporting</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Month-End Close (MEC)</strong> activities: journal entries, GL reconciliations, accruals, and variance/flux analysis.</li>
<li>Prepare and review <strong>financial reporting packs</strong>, including inventory schedules, COGS analysis, and reserve calculations.</li>
<li>Ensure timely submission of <strong>Balance Sheet, P\&L, and Cash Flow statements</strong> under <strong>US GAAP/IFRS</strong>.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Audit & Compliance</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Drive <strong>audit readiness</strong>: prepare schedules, support walkthroughs, and provide documentation for inventory and AP cycles.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with <strong>US GAAP/IFRS</strong> for inventory valuation, reserves, and procurement accounting.</li>
<li>Assist in drafting and implementing accounting policies and internal controls.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Inventory & Procurement Accounting</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and implement <strong>inventory control policies</strong> for accuracy and efficiency.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate inventory records; reconcile physical counts with <strong>NetSuite</strong> system records and publish reports.</li>
<li>Investigate variances and coordinate with operations for resolution.</li>
<li>Manage the <strong>purchase order system</strong>, monitor vendor advances, reconcile accounts payable, and ensure timely recording of procurement transactions.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications & Skills</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)</strong>.</li>
<li>3–5 years of experience in <strong>financial reporting, audit support, and inventory accounting</strong>.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of <strong>US GAAP/IFRS</strong> and technical accounting for inventory and reserves.</li>
<li>Experience in <strong>Procure-to-Pay processes</strong> and AP controls.</li>
<li>Proficient in <strong>Microsoft Excel</strong>; hands-on with <strong>NetSuite</strong> (preferred) and familiarity with <strong>SAP</strong>.</li>
<li>Expertise in <strong>GL reconciliations</strong>, <strong>monthly flux analysis</strong>, and audit documentation.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills.</li>
