Position Summary 

Nestlé is currently looking for a Service Specialist. You´ll be responsible to drive service performance by proactively identifying and resolving potential service issues and proactively communicate issues as identified.     

       

A day in the life of  Service Specialist 

 

  • Monitor all physical movements within the transportation plan, ensuring shipments flow as planned and are delivered on time.
  • Identify potential disruptions early and implement effective corrective actions to maintain expected customer service levels.
  • Proactively communicate load status and action plans to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Apply service strategies, aligning customer segmentation with daily problem‑solving activities.
  • Identify recurring or systemic issues related to carriers, distribution canters, customers, traffic, weather, etc., and develop sustainable solutions.
  • Use continues improvement principles and tools to identify performance gaps and drive continuous improvement.

  • Provision of services in a domestic context, for single or multiple customers.
  • Domestic transport operations, ensuring efficiency and on‑time performance.
  • Strong problem‑solving capabilities, providing quick and effective responses to unforeseen situations.
  • Ability to manage potentially conflicting KPIs, particularly balancing cost vs. service.
  • Knowledge of Safety, Health and Environment principles, as well as Quality regulations and best practices.
  • Understanding of end‑to‑end Supply Chain processes.
