What to Expect:

You will be responsible for driving measurable e-commerce growth through advanced media activation and optimization across paid channels. This role ensures flawless campaign preparation, management, and performance measurement for Nespresso’s e-commerce website, bringing to bear deep technical expertise in media platforms, AdTech, and analytics.

 

A day in the life:

Media Strategy & Channel Optimization

  • Partner with the Performance and Campaign Manager to develop media strategy and coordinate implementation through the external agency, ads team and the key account managers.
  • Collaborate with our external agency to translate briefs into clear media plans and ensure flawless activation across Meta, Google, programmatic, and emerging channels
  • Champion the use of data to inform media decisions — from audience selection to budget allocation to bidding strategies
  • Ensure that all campaign optimizations translate into tangible sales growth and achievement of conversion targets within allocated budgets.

 

Agency and Cross-functional Collaboration 

  • Serve as the day-to-day performance media contact with our agency, ensuring proactive campaign management, timely reporting, and strategic insights are delivered
  • Act as a bridge between the agency, creative, and content teams to ensure assets are  optimized for platform and objective Collaborate with e-business team on the promotional calendar to enhance conversion.
  • Participate in media briefings, creative reviews, and planning meetings committed to goals
  • Upskill team members on performance media standard methodologies and tools.

 

Campaign Performance & Optimization

  • Supervise the setup, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns driving sales on Nespresso’s e-commerce site.
  • Ensure precision in targeting, bidding, and budget pacing across platforms (Google Ads, Meta, programmatic)
  • Analyze performance across paid media platforms and support strategic optimizations to drive efficiency, ROAS, and customer acquisition
  • Develop with the group and the agency learning agendas and testing frameworks to refine audience targeting, messaging, and creative approaches
  • Oversee end-to-end financial processes for paid media campaigns, including budget and purchase order management, and invoice reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

 

Reporting & Insights

  • Build and present reporting dashboards with actionable insights on campaign performance, customer behaviour, and media efficiency
  • Provide key sales data and media insights into the health of the media campaigns to the immediate team.
  • Identify trends, performance drivers, and risks — and proactively recommend pivots where needed
  • Assist the Performance & Campaign lead with quarterly business reviews and budget planning exercises
  • Support all prospecting and retargeting initiatives and improve efficiency while delivering on monthly sales goals within budget

 

Market Intelligence and Innovation

  • Stay ahead of digital media trends, platform innovations, and consumer behavior shifts.
  • Identify and pilot new tools, technologies, and partners to improve media efficiency.
  • Benchmark against industry leaders to ensure outstanding performance standards.

 

 

Role Requirements

  • Bilingualism in English and French language skills or equivalent experience is a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with collaborators across the Canadian
  • 5+ years of experience in performance media or direct response marketing required
  • Required hands on expertise in Programmatic Display, Paid Search and Paid Social platforms.
  • Understanding of website conversion metrics including impressions, click-through rates, conversion rates.
  • Required hands on experience of media tracking & web analytics tools such as GA4

 

Preferred Skills 

  • Numerically inclined with ability to compile, analyze and leverage performance data to deliver stronger ROI and identify new opportunities.
  • Understanding of how consumers engage with direct response media and the role of the levers such as incentives and promotions in driving conversion.
