Position Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management of the stock allocation process, aimed at optimizing the completeness and timeliness of customers order fulfillment. You will collaborate with various business functions to assess, propose, and align actions to mitigate the risk of order portfolio incompleteness, while also improving the ability to provide proactive communication to internal and external customers in case of stock shortages. You will proactively simulate current and future stock management scenarios and their effect on order portfolio satisfaction and/or future demand.
A Day in the Life of an Order Fulfillment Specialist:
• Analyzes and evaluates the order portfolio in relation to the current and future stock position and the nature of the stock itself.
• Identifies, assesses, drives and co-ordinates potential stock management and/or order portfolio actions necessary to mitigate the risks of order incompleteness, involving other business functions (Customer Satisfaction, Demand & Supply Planning, Sales etc.) if necessary.
• Actively participates in common operational review meetings.
• Provides proactive and comprehensive communication to internal customers in case it is not possible to meet the completeness or timeliness of sales orders.
• Consistently updates system parameters for the correct configuration of mitigation actions, such as maintaining sales/promo quotas, stock reservations, optimizing sales orders, modifying transportation parameters, automatic substitutions of product codes.
• Integrates basic and advanced functionalities in the system (Excel and SAP) to reduce manual activities and improve automation, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Monitors the achievement of service level KPIs', the correct assignment of out-of-stock reasons, and the control of proper Health Checks.
• Contributes to and collaborates in estimating the monthly revenue landing.
