We are looking for a new Demand & Supply Planner (mission) reporting directly to DSP Manager Purina NL.

 

Business: Nestlé Purina

Contract: 12‑month temporary contract

Start Date: Asap

 

 

Position Summary

 

 

At Purina Petcare, we believe that pets and people are a perfect match; this principle has driven our development of pet food for decades. It inspires our team of over 400 scientists, including nutritionists, to create leading pet food products and ensure that our products are available everywhere for our pets.

 

As a Demand & Supply Planner, you will work in a team of Supply Chain professionals who ensure excellent execution of goods flow from factories to customers. You will also collaborate closely with your colleagues in Sales and Marketing. Your ability to translate strong analyses into even more accurate forecasts is essential. Additionally, it is crucial to build valuable relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the efficient and effective processing of planning. You will be based at our office located in Brussels.

 

 

 

A day in the life of a Demand & Supply Planner

 

Develop accurate forecasts of expected sales by utilizing historical data, trend analyses, and other information sources.

  • Maintain communication with factories and external partners to optimize inventory levels, ensuring customer service is guaranteed at the most efficient costs.
  • Manage and support projects (e.g., product launches, relaunches, and promotions).
  • Plan, execute, and oversee Third Party Logistics in creating promotional packaging (e.g., displays, on-pack promotions, etc.).
  • Continuously strive for process and tool improvements through the implementation of new initiatives.
  • Actively contribute to the Monthly Business Planning meetings, where you will present sales forecasts and refine departmental plans.

 

What will make you successful

 

  • A completed Bachelor / Master's degree;    
  • 1-2 year work experience in a commercial or supply chain-related role is preferred;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Can do mentality;
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A strong personality and team player;
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP (R/3), APO and Microsoft PowerBi is preferred
