Role Overview

Nepsis is seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels to drive brand awareness, client acquisition, and business growth. This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing and will work with the Vice President to develop strategies across SEO/SEM, content, email campaigns, paid media, and public relations to meet marketing objectives and delivering measurable ROI. This role will collaborate across the firm aligning marketing expertise with compliance requirements and business objectives to achieve measurable growth.


Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy

  • Partner with the Vice President, Marketing and external agencies to develop and implement integrated campaigns aligning with brand, service line, and distribution goals.
  • Lead content planning and production for external facing channels, including site pages, blogs, white papers, executive commentary, podcasts, videos, and social platforms.
  • Develop thought leadership programs to include byline articles, speaking engagements, and op-eds, in partnership with leadership and external partners.
  • Manage email strategy and lifecycle programs across prospect, client, and referral journeys.
  • Design and implement nurture tracks, onboarding flows, retention or reactivation campaigns, and event-driven messaging.
  • Plan and execute paid social, display, remarketing, and programmatic campaigns supplementing search and content initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency across marketing touchpoints and campaigns to support client acquisition goals.
  • Manage multiple projects and stakeholders to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of campaigns and creative assets.

Digital Strategy

  • Define and execute an overarching digital strategy to support business objectives.
  • Lead SEO strategy, including technical SEO, on-page content, backlink strategy, and keyword research aligned to client segments.
  • Manage SEM strategy and execution to drive efficient lead generation.
  • Work with the Vice President of Marketing to set targets and measurable objectives to assess effectiveness of implemented strategies.
  • Track and manage digital campaign budgets to report on campaign performance such as ROI and track progress on campaign goals.

Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with the Technology team to build audience segmentation, personalization, and automated journeys within the Nepsis CRM platform.
  • Develop and maintain measurement framework for multi-channel attribution and conversion lift analyses.
  • Build and present dashboards and reports for senior leadership tied to business metrics.
  • Incorporate findings from various forms of analyses, such as A/B and multivariate testing, funnel analysis, and cohort analysis to inform and drive future marketing strategies.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Operate within SEC regulatory and other applicable regulations to meet the requirements for marketing and communications.
  • Partner regularly with leaders managing compliance to ensure the review and approval processes are up-to-date and fully implemented.
  • Maintain auditable documentation, retention, and version control for regulated communications.
  • Ensure internal and external marketing partners follow all compliance requirements and processes.

Team Collaboration & Project Management

  • Collaborate across functions and service lines to meet company goals, which may mean working on internal projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in team and company meetings as a member of the overall Nepsis team.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the VP, Marketing.
  • Act as a mentor to junior staff when needed.


Necessary Skills & Abilities

  • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, and paid social.
  • Knowledge of the wealth management marketplace, client buying journeys, and distribution models.
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements including SEC regulations as it pertains to marketing initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into measurable marketing plans and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Advance analytics skills with experience using tools such as Salesforce.   
  • Proficiency with marketing platforms such as Hubspot, Act-On, Sharepoint, and InDesign.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong editorial sensibility for leadership and company messaging.
  • Project and vendor management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing priorities.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, business, communications, or another closely related field.
  • 5 or more years of progressive marketing experience.
  • 2 or more years of digital marketing experience.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration (MBA) or a closely related degree.
  • Advanced marketing certifications.
  • 7 or more years of progressive marketing experience.
  • 5 or more years of digital marketing experience.
  • Experience working in the wealth management industry.
  • Familiarity with FINRA, SEC advertising rules, and other relevant industry guidelines.
  • Experience building B2C and B2B2C marketing programs targeted at high-net-worth segments.


Working Environment & Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate. Client and internal company information is highly confidential.


The essential functions of the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist role will require the employee to be able to communicate verbally with others. The employee will often be required to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer and other office equipment. The employee will occasionally be required to stand, move, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs.
