The Well-Being Specialist supports Nemours Associate Well-being initiatives to cultivate an environment conducive to optimizing the experience of providing exceptional care, with a focus on creating and delivering programming that helps mitigate the drivers of burnout and compassion fatigue while improving emotional health of associates. The position serves as content expert for individual and group-based interventions to support emotional wellbeing, address emotional distress and enhance coping skills of all associates while also developing and implementing systems responses to predictable sources of workplace stress.  The individual selected for this position will provide organizational, team and individual well-being guidance and programming including health promotion, mental, emotional, and behavioral interventions.  The Nemours Wellbeing Specialist develops, distributes, and evaluates educational content and psychosocial interventions related to well-being, with an emphasis on providing planned and on-demand practical and applied programming for all associates.  This position interacts with all levels of the organization. 

Some key responsibilities:

  • The Well-being Specialist will maintain a regular on-site presence to meet individual and group level needs, both acutely and on-going basis
  • Providing Individual and Group Interventions 
  • Serve as a Resource Liaison 
  • The Well-being Specialist will also support interventions at the organizational level  
  • Program Administration and Documentation  

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of master’s degree in a social service field (MSW, MA or MS in Psychology or related field) and substantial experience providing direct intervention and programming. 
  • Certified as a LCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LMHC required
  • 5+ years of experience required
