Description
The Load-Out Associate plays a key role in delivering excellent customer experiences by safely and efficiently loading customer-purchased items into vehicles. This position also supports warehouse operations by maintaining merchandise organization, verifying orders, and using handheld devices to locate inventory. As a frontline team member, this role represents Nellis Auction's commitment to professionalism, value creation, and exceptional service.
Schedule: Mon-Thursday 8:00 am - 6:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and professionally load purchased merchandise into customer vehicles.
- Required to meet performance standards and KPI
- Verify outgoing orders and ensure accuracy of items.
- Maintain and organize merchandise racks and consolidation areas.
- Use hand-held scanners or mobile devices to locate inventory quickly and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the Customer Experience team to ensure timely service.
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Demonstrate Nellis Auction’s Core Values at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of warehouse or customer-facing experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer/data entry skills required
- Dependable attendance and punctuality required
- Bilingual skills are a plus!
Physical Job Requirement
- Routinely lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to walk and stand for 10–11 hours per day
- Work in extreme temperatures (warehouse or outdoors in summer/winter)
- Regular bending, squatting, reaching, and pulling
- Must possess vision abilities including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and focus
