Shift Details:

Days (Need to be flexible to 7A-7P, 9A-9P, and 11A-11P) also required to work weekends, rotating holiday’s, call, and occasional backup on secondary shift

The Emergency Department (ED) at Nebraska Medicine offers a six to twelve month fellowship program for new graduate Registered Nurses to assist in developing competency in ED nursing that will allow for an adequate transition into an ED Staff Nurse role.


Required Qualifications:

•Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills required.

• Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and flexibility required.

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or current compact state license required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).


Preferred Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred.
