Position Highlights:
Nebraska Medicine offers an exciting opportunity for aspiring Cath/IR Technologists. Our Trainee program is specifically designed for students interested in Cath and IR roles after graduation. We are actively seeking motivated individuals with 6-12 months remaining in their education to join our trainee program at Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha NE.
As IR Technologist Trainee, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in our IR department. This PRN position requires a commitment of at least 1 shift per pay period.
Sign-On Bonus and Commitment:
Upon completion of your education and being hired full-time (.9 or 1.0 FTE) in an IR role, you will be eligible for a $9000 sign-on bonus. We do require a two-year commitment in IR role as well as maintaining at least a .9 FTE during this commitment period.

Required to work 8 hours in the two week pay period

IR Technologist Trainee Description:
Provide expert diagnostic imaging and patient care to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, physicians and customers in and outside the Interventional Radiology Department. This diagnostic imaging must be performed under the direction of an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
Required Qualifications:
Second year student in a Radiology program required.
Temporary ARRT license from the State of Nebraska required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to manage patients in a hospital situation preferred.
Ability to manage and interact with patients and families of all age groups preferred.
Proficient knowledge of multi-dimensional medical imaging systems, Vacuum pumps, Oxygen bottles, Patient transportation devices, Film processors and Radiology Information System preferred.
