The Role Overview:

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams, taking ownership of both manual and automated testing processes. This role is ideal for candidates with strong automation skills combined with a solid background in manual and API testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain effective test cases and automation scripts for web applications

• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA engineers to translate requirements into testing scenarios

• Execute functional, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing across multiple platforms and devices

• Contribute to scalable and maintainable testing processes ensuring coverage and quality

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery

• Participate in defect reporting, tracking, and validation using issue-tracking tools

• Contribute to test documentation, test reports, and QA process improvements

• Stay up to date with emerging testing tools, technologies, and practices

You are Senior QA Automation Engineer with:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing

• Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium [Grid], TestNG, Selenide; optional: JUnit, Cucumber, PyTest)

• Solid understanding of API testing with tools such as Postman or REST Assured

• Experience working with CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)

• Understanding of microservice architecture, system integrations, and backend validations

• Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Nice to Have:

• ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent certifications

• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, Appium)

• Familiarity with mocking APIs and testing microservices

• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies

• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering quality software
