We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled BHUC Case Worker to join our team full-time. This role is essential to our mission, providing therapy, crisis support, and service coordination for mental health clients in a variety of settings. As a BHUC Case Worker with Carolina Outreach, you will provide office-based individual and family interventions to Mental Health and Substance Abuse clients being served in the BHUC.    Build Your Purpose. Position Description:    As a member of the BHUC, implement treatment planning based on individual needs. Implement therapeutic interventions, crisis interventions, behavioral interventions, psycho-educational activities, and other best evidence-based practices. Work with clients, families, natural supports, and collateral agencies in creating achievable, appropriate treatment plans. Provide parent/guardian/natural support psychoeducation to improve interaction with the client. Assist in all service delivery as formally planned with the clinical team. Provide any required written documentation, including, but not limited to, treatment notes, goals and plans for the medical record (e.g., service notes, discharge summaries). The above statements describe the general nature of work being performed and are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.   Location: Durham, NC Compensation: $47,925 Qualifications At a minimum, a staff member performing Interventions within BHUC must meet the requirements to be a Certified Peer Support Specialist, Associate Professional, Para-Professional, Qualified Professional, Licensed Professional, Licensed Professional Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) demonstrating crisis intervention knowledge and competencies.
