Position summary 


Nava is seeking a Product Manager to join our legacy modernization solutions team that is focused on developing tools that accelerate how Nava teams modernize legacy systems.As part of this team, you will support early stage product development, including but not limited to problem identification, rapid prototyping and experimentation, market research, and user research in support of achieving product market fit.

What you'll do
  • Create and execute product strategies for discovering and developing solutions that accelerate Nava's legacy modernization delivery teams:
-Solutions that break vendor lock-in and accelerate the modernization of legacy systems
-Solutions that help teams rapidly understand legacy systems
-Solutions that help teams migrate legacy systems quickly and safely

  • Quickly iterate within problem spaces to identify promising solutions
  • Work closely with business development to track pipeline to understand market needs and opportunities
  • Fill gaps and adapt to changing team needs in order to drive team outcomes
  • Measure team impact and report on progress towards company goals


Desired experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and implementing enterprise class solutions leveraging industry standard patterns and practices
  • Experience in early stage product discovery and development
  • Experience with market research and go-to-market experience
  • Successful delivery of complex features or products 
  • History of building strong relationships internally with peers and working cross-functionally with other internal disciplines 
  • Experience with business development within government digital services firms like Nava
  • Experience with legacy modernization problems


You should also be comfortable with:
  • Responding to, sharing internally, and absorbing feedback in a clear, quick, and concise manner
  • Cross-discipline collaboration and problem-solving including internal improvement areas like team structure, norms, standards, and processes with other teammates
  • Large amounts of ambiguity around goals, scope, and priorities
  • Being able to recognize new organic growth opportunities, grounded in pain points or needs we hear from the client, and collaborate with the Program Manager
  • Working with and being fluent in technical products such as SDKs, APIs, frameworks, and libraries
  • Experimenting with AI and following the changing landscape within AI
  • Having a growth mindset

Legal authorization to work in the United States

Ability to meet any other requirements for government contracts for which candidates are hired
