Our core values emphasize caring for people, connecting communities, and promoting peace.   Position Summary:     Under a grant from the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) the Post Release Services (PRS) Caseworker Supervisor supervises the case management team responsible for providing Level One (1) and Level Two (2) post release services. PRS includes assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation, and advocacy for options and services.   Responsibilities:   Responsible for ensuring staff compliance with ORR’s HS/PRS services. Responsible for direct supervision of Case Workers and PRS Case Managers. Adhering to ORR Policy and Cooperative Agreement requirements to provide PRS Level I and II services, which include providing logistical support for the completion of PRS Level 1, conducting virtual check-ins with the released child to confirm the child is residing with their sponsor, enrolled in school, aware of upcoming court dates, and is healthy, safe, and well. Ensure that direct staff check the safety and well-being of the children. Provide oversight, guidance, and support to PRS Level 2 case managers to conduct an initial in-home assessment, create safety plans, develop strengths-based plans with children and their sponsors, and refer and connect children to community-based services. Actively have a relationship with community-based organizations responsible for social services. Assist in or provide logistical support for the safe deployment of staff within designated regions. Have a case management approach that assesses, plans, facilitates, and advocates for unaccompanied children and their sponsors using knowledge of social services and human services. Ensures that staff under their supervision have an effective case management approach. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ORR Policy and Procedures, Flores Agreement as well as other applicable, and pertinent regulations and laws including the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA) of 2008 et.al. Follow ORR guidelines and policy requirements. Reports to Regional Supervisor/ Lead Case Manager. Perform other duties as assigned.   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS   Must be at least 21 years old. Master’s degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields; or a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of progressive employment experience that demonstrates supervisory and case management experience. Knowledge of local community social and human services. Should have specialized experience conducting home studies and working with immigrant populations. Prior experience with ORR HS/PRS preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Proficient in using ORR’s Official System of Record (also known as the UC Portal). Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries, and C/ANs check. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time with an active motor vehicle license, reliable automobile, a good driving record, and 100/300 insurance coverage on personally owned vehicle. Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in the service of persons served. Based on Program needs employee may be required to reside in region assigned.
