Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of energy and network planning at NESO (National Energy System Operator)?

We're looking for an energetic Engineer to support System Operations by analysing system events, contributing to incident reporting and learning, and helping drive continuous operational improvement.

As a Power System Engineer, you’ll work collaboratively with internal teams and industry partners, support the development of operational policies, and contribute to asset and network guidance across the transmission system.

We are looking for someone with a background in engineering or other numerical discipline and a real zest for learning new things. If you're naturally curious and excited about innovative solutions, you're perfect for our team.

At NESO, you'll find yourself at the heart of transformations, pushing boundaries with technology and innovation to revolutionise our processes.

Join our well-establish Technical Operations team and soak up knowledge and insight with an on-the-job training. It's your chance to learn from the best!

We have a number of roles available with variety of level experience, and we're eager to match each new team member's skills with the perfect position.

This role is based in Wokingham or Warwick, and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home, with the specific split determined by business needs.

The role will require up to four days per week in Wokingham during the training/onboarding period (depending on experience and training needs), reducing to two days per week once established.

This isn't just a job—it's your gateway to a significant and meaningful impact on the future of our climate. Get Ready to Make a Difference!
