  • Prepare the Engineering Director and Asset Management Director for meetings by organising logistics and minimising surprises.
  • Serve as the lynchpin of the team, keeping everyone informed about ongoing activities and necessary actions.

  • Keep the team moving forward by coordinating logistics for off-site events and ensuring thorough preparation for meetings.
  • Take comprehensive notes and track actions to ensure accountability.
  • Proactively offer support to teammates in various capacities, including event coordination, ad-hoc project work, or IT issues.
  • Act as a trusted confidante to colleagues, fostering a supportive team environment.

About you

  • A passion for building relationships allows for quick rapport with individuals at all levels of the organisation. The ability to challenge and push back when necessary ensures tasks are completed effectively.
  • Natural influencing skills and effective communication foster trust and treat everyone like valued customers.
  • A strong sense of integrity and trustworthiness is essential, especially when handling confidential information and managing the inbox of senior leaders.
  • Thriving in a busy, dynamic environment, the ability to prioritise workloads while managing new tasks is key. Anticipating team members' needs before they arise is a valuable asset.
  • Excellent under pressure, remaining calm and focused enables the handling of multiple demands without feeling overwhelmed.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability allow for quick thinking in changing circumstances.
  • Seeking a supportive manager who values openness and is committed to driving personal development.

What you'll get

A competitive salary between £30,000 - £35,000 – dependent on capability.

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
