National Grid is hiring a Civil Engineering Manager accountable for the overall civil design of new OHA’s across our projects. This role involves managing a team of engineers to provide design governance across all civil contractors, including but not limited to civil design houses, civil works contractors, and ancillary and building systems.
The role is primarily office-based at the main NGV office in Warwick, with regular national and international travel for meetings with project partners and design consultants. Frequent visits to the converter station site and cable route are also expected. Team members are currently permitted to work up to 6 days a fortnight from home, but this is likely to change as the project develops.
Please note you must have a full UK driving licence and be able to drive for this role.
A competitive salary between £66,000 - £78,000 per annum– dependent on capability.
