What You Will Do

Nasdaq is seeking a Senior Product Owner to own and evolve a highly complex, global Salesforce CRM platform supporting Sales, Service, and Go-To-Market teams. This role requires deep technical acumen, strong integration experience, and the ability to confidently lead requirements gathering and solution design. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and global stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of solutions that drive business value.

The Salesforce environment you will oversee includes Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud, integrated within a sophisticated revenue technology ecosystem including tools such as Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach.

The Product Owner will serve as the primary decision-maker for Salesforce backlog prioritization, roadmap trade-offs, and integration impacts. This is a mission‑critical role requiring experience, judgment, and confidence—not just process execution. The right candidate will materially improve platform stability, delivery speed, and stakeholder trust..

Salesforce Platform Project Management

  • Serve as the end-to-end Product Owner for a highly customized Salesforce environment across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.

  • Own backlog prioritization, roadmap sequencing, and scope trade-offs across Sales, Revenue Operations, and Leadership stakeholders.

  • Translate business objectives into clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.

Integration & Technical Solution Delivery

  • Functional oversight of Salesforce integrations, including but not limited to:

    • Gong

    • Outreach

    • LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • Partner closely with architects and developers to:

    • Anticipate downstream impacts of changes

    • Identify integration risks early

    • Ensure scalable and supportable solutions

  • Lead triage and resolution of complex production issues affecting revenue workflows

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Act as the primary interface between US-based business stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Confidently facilitate live discussions, including requirements intake, sprint ceremonies, roadmap reviews, and executive‑level escalations.

  • Provide clear, direct guidance and push back when requests introduce platform risk or misalignment

  • Demonstrate specific experience working with Sales and Revenue Leaders, who represent the most frequent and complex stakeholder conversations. Understanding their world is essential.

Delivery & Execution

  • Ensure high-quality delivery by:

    • Engaging with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and process flows

    • Maintaining a well-groomed, prioritized backlog while enforcing clear definition of ready and definition of done

    • Actively participating in agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives

    • Driving alignment across cross-functional teams

    • Playing a key role in business acceptance testing (BAT), including coordinating testing efforts with business users, documenting test results, and facilitating issue resolution

  • Measure and communicate delivery progress, risks, and dependencies

What We Expect

Experience

  • 6–10+ years of experience in Salesforce‑focused Product Owner, Product Manager, or Senior Business Systems roles

  • Demonstrated experience owning complex Salesforce implementations in global or enterprise environments

  • Hands‑on experience with Salesforce integrations, particularly within sales and revenue technology stacks

  • Experience working closely with Sales and Revenue Leadership stakeholders, with the ability to navigate and influence in high‑pressure, high‑judgment environments

  • Industry Alignment: Candidates should have professional background aligned to B2B Sales, Financial Services, or SaaS environments. These domains reflect the stakeholder expectations, operating models, and revenue processes core to this role.

  • Willingness to work US Eastern hours.

Technical Acumen

  • Continuous Salesforce Enablement: Proactively stays up to date on the latest Salesforce releases, features, and platform capabilities, and takes the lead in educating relevant teams (Enablement, SSA, Sales, and others) on new functionality, platform changes, and best‑practice adoption.

  • Sales & Service Cloud Process Expertise: Ability to comfortably explain and guide users through core Sales Cloud processes (lead conversion, opportunity stages, forecast categories, pipeline hygiene) and foundational Service Cloud concepts, enabling effective education on Salesforce best practices and standards.

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Salesforce data models, automation, and permissions

    • Integration patterns (APIs, middleware, sync processes)

    • Impact of Salesforce changes on downstream systems

  • Ability to engage deeply with architects and engineers without requiring much translation.

Communication & Leadership

  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills

  • Proven ability to:

    • Lead difficult stakeholder conversations

    • Say “no” with rationale and alternatives

    • Make and own decisions under pressure

  • Comfortable working directly with senior US based stakeholders in real time.
