Therefore, we are looking for a Regional Security Manager to join our team in EMEA and help safeguard our people, assets, and operations across the region. 

This role is pivotal in ensuring a secure and resilient environment for Nasdaq’s global business. You will lead the development and execution of regional security strategies, manage critical incidents, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance. 

As a Regional Security Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership, local authorities, and cross-functional teams to proactively identify risks, implement protective measures, and foster a culture of security awareness. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting business continuity, travel safety, and regulatory compliance across multiple sites. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, implement, and manage security policies, standards, and procedures across the region. 
  • Conduct risk assessments and site security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions. 
  • Supervise and coordinate regional security staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. 
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and regulatory agencies. 
  • Investigate security breaches, thefts, workplace violence, and other incidents; ensure thorough reporting and root cause analysis. 
  • Develop and oversee security training programs for employees and contractors. 
  • Monitor security systems and technologies (e.g., access control, CCTV, alarms) to ensure operational effectiveness. 
  • Manage security budgets and vendor contracts for guard services, equipment, and technologies. 
  • Support crisis management and business continuity planning and execution. 
  • Ensure compliance with all local, regional, and national security and privacy regulations. 
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on security risks, incidents, and initiatives. 
  • Manage Travel Security and monitor EMEA travelers during business travel 
  • Monitor Titan, the Nasdaq emergency communications platform, send notifications as necessary, and assist employees in using the Application. 
  • Assist in internal audits to ensure compliance with Nasdaq policies. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Security Management, or related field. 
  • Significant experience in corporate or operational security, with at least 2 years in a regional or multi-site leadership role. 
  • Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or CFE are highly desirable. 
  • Strong knowledge of physical security, investigations, risk management, and emergency response protocols. 
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Experience working with security technology systems and platforms.
