  • Engineer AWS data services (EC2, RDS) - provision infrastructure with Terraform and automate environment setup

  • Implement CI/CD for data and app artifacts using Git - apply Git-based workflows, code review, testing, and automated deployments

  • Partner with product, platform, and domain teams to migrate on-prem data workloads to cloud-native patterns and to modernize legacy ETL to lakehouse standards

  • Utilise PowerBI to generate standardised Global reporting to provide clear analytical business insights to enable leadership to make data-driven decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Python, Java - ability to write clean, testable code for both data pipelines and applications

  • Proven experience in Data Analytics / Data Engineering roles, with production exposure to AWS (preferred) or other major clouds

  • Strong database fundamentals (SQL design, query optimization, indexing), and practical experience with one or more RDBMS and data warehousing concepts

  • Hands-on with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, SQL, notebooks/jobs) and ETL/ELT patterns; familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow or managed alternatives)

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerization (Docker); understanding of DevOps practices for data and apps (CI/CD, versioning, testing)

  • Continuous learner with a passion for data engineering, analytics platforms, and building delightful developer & stakeholder experiences
