This position is part of the Marketing, Outreach & Admissions arm within the Undergraduate Programmes Office, performing the critical function of supporting admissions, thereby enhancing and enriching the experience of prospective students.
Responsibilities:
1. Admissions
Develop, manage and implement strategy and operational plans for the yearly admissions exercise
Review applications and make recommendations to offer based on NBS’ admission requirements and targets
Organize and manage the work of the admissions team to ensure efficient decision-making according to the timeline for admissions and enrolment.
Compile, process and analyze admissions data for regular and up-to-date reporting to the Admissions Committee.
Act as the primary point of contact to provide advisory for enquiry on admissions and student administration.
Provide support for outreach activities and initiatives as laid out by the Assistant Director, Marketing, Outreach & Admissions
Conduct data analysis of the industry and candidates’ behaviour to complement the development of marketing strategies
2. Peer Tutoring
Oversee administration of peer tutoring scheme include includes recruitment of peer tutors and payment
Requirements:
Bachelor degree
Intermediate level proficiency in MS Excel or other data-analytics software
Proficient in MS suites of software
Ability to review and streamline work processes
Analytical and ability to make data-driven decision
Able to multi-task and work with tight timeline.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Outgoing and enjoy interacting with people
Candidates with previous working experience in tertiary institutes (at least 2 years) will have an advantage.
