About this role
The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is looking for a Research Fellow who is a skilled organic chemist who have experience to design and preparation of chiral nanoparticle catalyst, and optimization of enantioselective metal-catalyzed reactions. The role will focus on autocatalysis particularly related to amplification of enantiopurity. The candidate should also have experience in mentoring MSc and undergraduate students.
Key Responsibilities:
Synthesis of chiral nanoparticles
Optimisation of reaction conditions
Supervision of graduate student
Supervision of undergraduate student
Job Requirements:
Phd (for Research Fellow and above equivalent) qualification degree in Organic Chemistry
At least 3 years of relevant experiences in catalysis / technical hands-on experience in making chiral nanoparticles
Good written and oral communication skills
Competent in mentoring MSc and UG students
