Artificial Intelligence (AI) related fields, including machine learning, computer vision, adaptive data modelling, and computational imaging. The objective is to develop state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms for solving ill-posed inverse problems, which can benefit a wide range of real-world applications.
This Research Engineer will work with our team to conduct the research on development of AI models and algorithms for image processing, computational imaging as well as computer vision applications
Key Responsibilities:
The roles of this position include:
Research on the cutting-edge AI algorithms for processing and modeling high-dimensional data (e.g., tensor or multi-modality data).
Work with other researchers and PhDs to develop AI applications related to image processing, computational imaging as well as computer vision.
Lead a team of junior researchers, e.g., PhD students and Research Assistant, to help with the vision and data analytics tasks.
Discussion and study recent papers and baseline codes in this field. Report to advisor and the team weekly.
Prepare and publish research papers on top-tier conferences and journals.
Help prepare the proposal and progress report.
Job Requirements:
Successful applications are expected to possess a bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from reputed universities, with at least 3 years research experience in related fields.
Research and Comprehensive Skills:
1. Independent and self-motivated researcher
2. Good paper reading and writing skills
3. Excellent publication record, including top-tier journals and conference papers in the related fields.
4. Strong in Mathematics with good knowledge of Efficient Learning for computer vision
Coding Skills:
1. Familiar with any of the major deep learning libraries, including Pytorch
