We are looking for a Research Associate to support the research for the project titled “Self-Healing Ductile Cementitious Composites for Durable and Resilient Coastal Protection Infrastructure”. The role will focus on carrying out research according to the proposed milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

The Research Associate (RA) will work on a project to conduct the research on development of Self-Healing Ductile Cementitious Composites for Durable and Resilient Coastal Protection Infrastructure.

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Material Science or Chemistry or related field

  • Strong academic standing with several publications in reputable journals

  • Strong references from previous supervisors

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Proficiency in chemical synthesis and analysis, concrete sample preparation, mechanical testing and microstructural characterization (XRD, TGA, FTIR and SEM-EDX).

  • Additional experience in carbon sequestration in cement-based material would be preferable, but not required.
