We are looking for a project officer to work on the project of NEMO Sub-Project C: Passive UE activity inference (4/5G) from OTA network traffic. The role will focus on developing algorithms and methods for processing and analyzing 5G signals. We would like for the incumbent to commence work in early March 2026 with a project period of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

The project officer will work on a project to conduct research on development of wireless communications, signal processing and machine learning methods and algorithms for urban anomaly detection and human activity classification through 5G signal recording, processing analysis. The roles of this position include:

  • Development of methods and algorithms for urban anomaly detection. 

  • Development of methods, algorithms for human activity classification. 

  • Work on 5G signal recording, processing analysis.

  • Mentoring students  

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering both from a reputable university

  • Working experience in related areas

  • Knowledge and experience in machine learning and deep learning

  • Knowledge and experience in wireless communications and radar

  • Knowledge and experience in statistical signal processing

  • Knowledge and experience in 5G networking

  • Good publications in related areas.

  • Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as C, Matlab and Python

  • Proficiency in English - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders
