Senior Product Designer - Lending & Savings

We are a multidisciplinary team of 40+ talented individuals (known as “UXers”), who practice Product Design, User Research, UX Writing, and Design Operations. Most of our UXers are distributed across various cross-functional teams, looking after different product verticals. Our team is based in Berlin and Barcelona.</p> <h2>About Lending &amp; Savings Segment:</h2> <p>As the Senior Product Designer for the Lending &amp; Savings segment with a focus on a range of financial products, including Instant Savings, Overdraft, Consumer Credit (loans), Installment Loans (BNPL), and Instant Savings. The team is working to further develop the portfolio of products by expanding ‌use cases to address a wider range of use needs, while extending access to customers across our 24 markets.</p> <p>As a key component of both the N26 customer experience and N26’s financial success, this role presents the opportunity to have a huge impact on N26’s future success.</p> <h2><strong>In this role, you will:</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Own and drive the UX and Product metrics for your team</strong>: Take responsibility for the entire design process from initial research, ideation, conceptualization and design, to testing and validation.&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Turn user problems detected across all feedback channels into product opportunities</strong>: Work together with other UXers, data analysts, product managers, engineers, etc. to oversee the development of a product from problem definition, conceptualization, to launch.</li> <li><strong>Enhance the delightfulness</strong>: Design mobile and web interfaces that are incredibly simple, elegant, and enjoyable for users.</li> <li><strong>Contribute to design excellence and consistency</strong>: Advocate for and nurture our NXD (<em>N26 Experience Design</em>) Design System.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What you need to be successful:</strong></h2> <ul> <li data-start="317" data-end="424">5+ years of experience<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>designing digital products (mobile and web) in crossfunctional product teams.</li> <li data-start="427" data-end="608">Advanced proficiency in Figma, with proven ability to apply strong design craft from wireframes and prototypes to production ready interfaces and scalable design components.</li> <li data-start="611" data-end="743">Strong UX foundation and design craft, enabling you to deliver high quality work across the end to end product design process.</li> <li data-start="746" data-end="865">Experience working with and contributing to design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.</li> <li data-start="868" data-end="1017">Ability to plan and facilitate collaborative design sessions<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>(e.g. critiques, design sprints, journey mapping) to drive alignment and outcomes.</li> <li data-start="1020" data-end="1184">Experience leveraging user research and data insights<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>to inform design decisions and the initiative to proactively seek them out when not readily available.</li> <li data-start="1187" data-end="1310">Ability to collaborate effectively<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span>with product managers, engineers, researchers, and writers to ship impactful work.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What’s in it for you:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Accelerate your career growth by joining one of Europe’s most talked about disruptors 🚀.</li> <li>Employee benefits that range from a competitive personal development budget, work from home budget, discounts to fitness &amp; wellness memberships, language apps and public transportation.&nbsp;</li> <li>As an N26 employee you will have access to a Premium subscription on your personal N26 bank account.
