Job Description
Role – SAP S/4 HANA – Transformation Director
The primary objective of this role is to lead a highly complex transformation program for a global Retail and Consumer organisation specialising in Fashion Apparel. This organisation operates across multiple countries and currently manages diverse geo-specific legacy applications. The goal is to transition to a consolidated, streamlined application landscape, optimise business processes, and drive adoption of advanced technology and industry best practices across all business functions with SAP S/4
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end execution of the transformation program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide strategic thought leadership in planning, executing, and delivering the transformation roadmap.
- Develop and communicate a comprehensive transformation roadmap aligned with SAP S/4HANA objectives and broader business strategies.
- Guide and manage cross-functional teams—including business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors—ensuring adherence to best practices and successful program delivery.
- Establish and maintain project governance, risk management, and resource allocation to meet timelines and budgetary targets.
- Drive change management and stakeholder engagement initiatives to facilitate smooth adoption of new SAP S/4HANA solutions.
- Collaborate closely with project leads and enterprise architects to plan and integrate SAP S/4HANA with other systems and technologies.
- Provide thought leadership in defining strategies for template rollout, change management, landscape design, development, integration, testing, cutover, and transition to business-as-usual (BAU).
- Engage business stakeholders across multiple countries to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements during template adoption.
- Define and develop a detailed transformation roadmap for downstream portfolios, prioritizing value-driven technologies and use cases.
- Conduct in-depth feasibility studies, including techno-economic and cost-benefit analyses, to evaluate the impact of target solutions on organizational performance.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to executive management.
- Partner with implementation teams to ensure successful delivery and operationalization of digital platforms.
- Take full ownership of the program’s end-to-end delivery and outcomes.
Essential Skill:
- Over 20 years of experience managing SAP transformation programs.
- Proven track record of managing at least two global greenfield SAP implementations, including template build and rollout.
- Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA (preferably Public Cloud) with specific experience in the retail sector.
- Functional consulting experience in SAP modules such as SD or FICO, with exposure to SAP S/4HANA IS-Retail solutions.
- Demonstrated experience driving change management initiatives within large customer environments.
- Strong leadership capabilities in managing project teams and engaging business stakeholders across multiple geographies
