Company Overview

Founded in 1920, the E.S. Boulos Company (ESB) – a subsidiary of MYR Group Inc. – performs electrical construction services throughout the Northeastern U.S. We have two divisions, offering both powerline construction and commercial/industrial electrical construction, making us a full-service electrical provider.

Essential Functions

  Expected Deliverables – Provide 1-3 bullet points identifying deliverables that interns will work to complete in addition to the already provided bullet point.

  • Good Understanding of Electrical Construction
  • Proven Self-Motivation
  • Prior to the end of their internship, the intern will create and present a self-reflection project detailing their gained industry knowledge, future career goals, as well as personal and professional growth. The presentation will be provided in PowerPoint and presented to their direct management team.

• Participation in the Lunch & Learn internship program provided by the MYR Group Internship Leadership team.

Qualifications

• College sophomore or above working towards a related undergraduate degree or be currently enrolled in or attending trade school. If you are a recent graduate, you must be within 1 year of your graduation date.
• No experience required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare and give presentations.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate with employees and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
