Duties and Responsibilities:
Build and lead a high-performing Legal Operations Team focused on collections through litigation (such as small claims case filing).
Manage external agencies handling a portion of the legal collections process, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Provide insights and develop strategies to improve legal collections success rates while ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
Provide insights and make appropriate and fact-based decisions with available information when under pressure and/or adverse conditions to drive legal collections and process improvements.
Oversee the legal collections process, including:
Identifying clients for case filing
Preparing and reviewing court-required documents
Coordinating with internal teams, legal counsel, courts, and external partners
Ensure all payments to court are properly filed, documented, and executed.
Displays:
Knowledgeable in Debt Collections through litigation
Detail-oriented which supports his/her project management and process improvement skills.
Identifies problems in meeting key performance indicators, resolve them to the satisfaction of the business objectives.
Continually raises the standard of quality in the work of self and others
Delivers:
Drive debt collections by Litigation by ensuring all documents and evidence are provided and all parties are informed and operationally efficient.
Provide timely direction on strategic changes within the business and help align the focus of resources to the same.
Improve internal and external teams’ performance and support in career development
Qulifications:
Bachelor's degree in any field
At least 5 years of experience in Collections and/or Litigation
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Experience with project management is a plus
Experience in FinTech and BNPL is a plus
Licensed lawyer is a plus
