Assurance, Department of Customer Services About Us Governance, Risk and Assurance (GRA) supports the Department of Customer
Service (DCS) by implementing robust governance standards, systems and
policies. The Team encompasses the
functions of Compliance, Enterprise Risk and Internal Control Systems. We work
together to help DCS reduce the risk from our operations, promote a culture of
compliance and maintain effective reporting and control management systems. About the Role We are looking for someone who has a strong background in governance and can lead
the implementation of the Internal Control Framework across the Department. To understand and work with our partners
within the Department, you will lead and participate in regular network
meetings where we share ideas on risk, compliance and internal control systems best
practice and learn from each other. We work with functional leads and champions
across the department to build capability in risk, compliance and internal
controls systems. We monitor and report on maturity indicators of our core
governance functions and ensure the enablers for those functions are in place
and meet organisational needs. We provide information to senior leadership
critical to understanding delivery of our strategic obligations. We need someone who can lead the
development and implementation of the Internal Control Framework and support
our other governance functions. You will have experience advising, influencing
and working with colleagues with varying levels of capability in governance. To be successful in this role,

attendance to Sydney will still be required as needed
Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role starting at $129,464 base plus superannuation
