Assistant Business Systems and Analyst Officer  
 
Grade: 5/6 
Salary range: $99,938 - $110,271 + superannuation and leave loading 
Duration: Temporary until 19th June 2026 
Location: Hybrid, with attendance at Haymarket (McKell Building), Gosford, Bathurst or Tweed Heads  required two days per week and occasional NSW-wide travel for inspections. This may be subject to change in line with DCS workplace policies 

Drive system improvements and data integrity to support critical property operations across NSW. 

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Business Systems and Analyst Officer with strong technical and analytical skills to maintain property systems, ensure data accuracy, and deliver insightful reporting. You’ll play a key role in supporting system functionality, continuous improvement initiatives, and providing assistance and support to the Business Analyst within the Property Management team. 

About the team  
 
This role sits within the Property Management team in the NSW Telco Authority.   

The team manages the ongoing lifecycle of PSN sites, including rental and site costs, colocation, and facilities. You’ll join a collaborative, fast-paced team committed to operational excellence and innovation. 
 
 
Your responsibilities will include  
  •  Supporting system functionality and ensuring data integrity across property systems 
  • Auditing system data, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions
  • Producing regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and insights using Power BI and Excel
  • Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case development and defect validation
  • Providing advice, guidance, and training to the Property team on system use and processes
  • Providing support to the Business Analyst role, with finance obligations required from the Property Team, this will include paying invoices, SAP reporting and supporting monthly rental payments 
  • Engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders and system users

To be successful in this role you will have

  • SAP and TRIM Expertise: You have experience using SAP for procurement and financial processes and TRIM for document management. 
  • Power BI and Data Analysis: You can develop dashboards, reports, and data models to provide actionable insights. 
  • Systems and Data Management: You understand system administration and data integrity principles and can manage updates and improvements. 
  • Autonomy and Organisation: You work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results under pressure. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You communicate effectively and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 

Nice to have: Property and facilities experience.
