Assistant Child Safe Officer
The Office of the Children’s Guardian (OCG) is seeking an Assistant Child Safe Officer to join our Specialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC) team.

About the role
The Specialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC) scheme
regulates providers of overnight respite and behaviour support for children.
SSRC includes arrangements between a parent and an organisation for a child to
receive care away from their usual home for short or long periods of time. The
care must be for respite or behaviour support, or funded by the National
Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
The Assistant Child Safe Officer provides
administrative and support services to the SSRC team within the Child Safe
Organisations Directorate to facilitate the smooth running of the operational
processes and systems. The role also administers the SSRC Register, as well as
responding to enquires from stakeholders.
