The Asset Protection Team Member plays a key role in supporting loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence, observing activity, and reporting potential risks. This entry-level position focuses on awareness, documentation, and support of Asset Protection operations while maintaining a safe and secure environment for team members and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, fraud, and unsafe behavior
Observe and report suspicious activity using established procedures
Monitor CCTV systems and report incidents to Asset Protection leadership
Assist with basic incident reporting and documentation
Support inventory protection and loss prevention initiatives
Follow company policies and procedures related to safety and asset protection
Communicate professionally with store leadership and team members
Escalate concerns appropriately to Asset Protection leadership

No independent investigations
No disciplinary authority
No law enforcement interaction
No restitution or criminal case handling

QualificationsQualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Ability to remain alert, observant, and professional
Strong verbal communication skills

Ability to follow direction and procedures
Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in retail, security, or customer service
Familiarity with CCTV monitoring (not required)
Physical & Work Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
Ability to observe, document, and report incidents accurately
