Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00 hourly, DOE and Qualifications.

WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, this position provides dispatching of delivery trucks to customer jobsites, ensure load accuracy, delivery communication with customers, customer service, processes customer orders, invoices and credits, directs accounts receivable requests from customers, dispatches customer pickups, and provides marketing assistance for the location sales teams.  This position is required to provide sales assistance for walk-in Commercial and Retail customers; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High school education or equivalent required, some college level courses are a plus. 
  • Two years’ customer service experience preferred, experience in the concrete block and/or sack industry area plus.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Truck Dispatching experience preferred.
  • Strong aptitude for organizing personal tasks and repetitive duties in a dynamic environment.
  • Requires good reading, writing and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers, customers and superiors.
  • Must have strong communication, teamwork, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to consistently delivering the highest quality customer service.
  • Working knowledge of office environment with experience using multi-line phone system, personal computer, printer, calculator, copier, and facsimile machine.  Some other equipment may be required to perform duties.
  • Sales experience preferred, but not required.
  • Predictable and Regular attendance is required.
