About the role:

In your role as Assistant Vice President you will assist the Market Risk Team with the implementation and management of the Risk Framework and Strategy, with a specific focus on risk identification, analysis and reporting.

What you’ll be doing:

• Deliver extraordinary service customers to enhance functions reputation and meet customer's expectations
• Work in partnership with various departments to provide policy interpretation on Regional and local Market Risk policies and frameworks 
• Work in partnership with various departments and collect information in a timely manner to support in assessing Oceania’s market risk performance against MUFG polices and guidelines
• Support with coordinate committee and meeting minutes
• Monitor and prepare regular reports on Oceania’s performance on activities including, but not limited to, credit limits, loan due date checks, borrow ratings reviews and audits to MUFG policy and guidelines
• Adhere to all company policies as well as guidelines
• Maintain and update credit limits of front and back office systems
• Produce risk exposure and profit and loss reports for Treasury, Head Office and regulatory purposes
• Produce credit and market risk usage and detect exceptions
• Maintenance of all middle office systems 
• Assist in testing new risk management systems
• Document and update risk management systems on a regular basis
• Carry out special projects as assigned

What we are looking for: 

• 2+ year’s experience years of work experience in banking or financial services risk
• Undergraduate in qualification in Commerce, Law or Finance
• Sound knowledge of banking regulatory environment and regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver simple solutions with short notice
• Extensive experience using the full MS Office suite including, Powerpoint, Excel, Word and MS Teams
• The ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
• Is a team player
• Well organised with demonstrated experience in effective time management, execution and accuracy
• Has the ability to work independently and prioritise a number of tasks across various work streams and alongside a number of stakeholders
