Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Technicians to perform Closer Pre-ownership Arrangement (CPA) roles for new Rolling Stock introduction and assist your superior in daily management of the team and punctually delivery of works.
• Carry out inspection, testing and commissioning of new trains and assure the quality of train manufacturing, modification and testing integrity. You are also required to ensure that such activities are carried out in accordance with the design specification and schedule in order to meet the operation needs, reliability and safety requirements
• Maintain close communication with different working partners, including external parties and in-house colleagues from different Departments / Divisions.
• Take decision making responsibility for system failure during testing and quality defects during inspection. Reporting to your superior and proposing follow-up actions and conducting monitoring of rectification progress is also required,
• Allocate works to technicians on-site and keep track on the work progress and their performance standard

• Prepare regular reports for on-site inspection findings and site work progress update.

   

Requirements

• Higher Diploma/ Higher Certificate in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level
• Good communication skill, good technical knowledge of railway systems and ability to  demonstrate analytical skill and scientific approach to solve technical problems will be advantageous
• Proficiency in speaking Mandarin and reading/writing in Simplified Chinese is essential
• Candidates with extensive experience but lower qualification will also be considered

• On a shift basis duty, business travels may be required on need basis
