About this role
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of technical staff or contractor to carry out high voltage and low voltage asset replacement works, testing and commissioning
- Take daily site inspection records of project progress, work safety and quality
- Inspect work safety and quality in compliance with corporate, contract and statutory requirements
- Assist in planning and organizing work execution to ensure a good site progress
- Support project administration of project documents, site records and as-built drawings
- Coordinate with other departments on work execution to ensure reliable and safe railway operation
- Perform Authorised / Nominated Person duty for power equipment outage when required
- Perform duties for other projects, operation interface or maintenance works when required
Requirements
- Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience, of which 3 years should be at supervisory level
- Possession of the “Authorised Person” qualification in power utilities, Grade “C” or "H" Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker and a valid Hong Kong driving licence Class 1 and 2 are preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Remarks
- Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
- Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered
- Required to perform shift duties and work under adverse weather and emergency situations
