Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical staff to conduct regular inspection at construction sites within the railway protection areas

• Review construction submissions, conduct investigation, prepare reports and review monitoring results regularly to assess the condition of railway structures / installations as well as arrange rectification works when necessary

Requirements

• Degree in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline

• A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in railway or construction works, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level

• Possession of Corporate Membership in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical Engineering and a valid Hong Kong driving licence class 1 and 2 are preferred

• Solid experience in project management and contract administration

• Good knowledge of tunnelling or geotechnical works in railway environment is an advantage

Remarks

• Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered

• Required to perform shift duties and work under adverse weather and emergency situations
