About this role
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technical staff to carry out inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance, emergency recoveries and renewal or modification of track work
- Ensure proper use of the tools and equipment for renewal and maintenance activities, report work progress, incidents, activities relating to safety and quality aspects to supervisors
- Perform the role of Engineer’s Person-In-Charge or Competent Person and other associated duties for compliance of the on-track safety requirements
Requirements
- Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
- Be a registered track worker under the Construction Worker Registration Ordinance or a qualified track worker of the Construction Industry Training Authority
- Possession of a valid Hong Kong driving license class 18 is preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Remarks
- Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered
- Required to perform shift duties and work under adverse weather and emergency situations

- The above position offers a Joining Bonus of $12,000, subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant programme
