Responsibilities

• Lead a team of supervisors and technical staff to manage maintenance and engineering activities of signalling or telecom systems / radio and telecom network systems

• Monitor and improve equipment performance to sustain a high level of train service reliability

• Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to organise and control engineering works for service improvements

• Oversee asset management, system performance reviews, modification works as well as maintenance contract supervision

• Lead the Rapid Response Unit to perform instant service recovery
   

Requirements

• Degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level
• Possession of Corporate Membership of the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) or other professional institutions is preferred
• Knowledge of signalling / telecom systems project management is an advantage
  

Remarks

• Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered

• Required to perform shift duties and work under adverse weather and emergency situations
